Park History
For more than 25 years (1918 to 1943), the Maple Dairy, operated by Battista Venera and his family, served the communities of Roslyn, Ronald, South Cle Elum, and Cle Elum.
From the beginning of only 20 milk cows, he built his herd to 90. Each summer, after the morning milking, the cows were herded out to open rangeland behind his farm, which is where this area in Suncadia stands today.
